About Us
Who We Are Now
Factr is a tool library of at home medical and therapeutic devices for individuals to monitor and make educated decisions on their health. This company has a goal of aiding in the current medical system by working with/ giving relief to hospitals, urgent cares, and General Practitioners. Factr is another option for patients to be more informed about their health. We are setting out to give people a platform in which they are able to connect themselves more in depth with their health, and feel empowered when making decisions for it. Factr will be an aid to medical professionals and facilities while helping cut down on the costs of unnecessary, expensive testing from hospitals, and detrimental waiting times of tests. By partnering with current medical device companies to provide a rental service, Factr gives opportunity to low/middle income individuals and families to have access to expensive monitoring and therapeutic devices that they otherwise could not acquire because of the expensive retail purchase price of current at home medical devices. Factr is setting out to rethink the environment while delivering meaningful, quality health care, doing so by promoting current FDA approved companies making strides in medical innovation, giving more accessible care, and creating another platform that can aid current healthcare professionals when looking after themselves and patients.
Phase 1
The first phase will be no shorter than 6 month, and no longer than one year (projection 6-8 months). During this time Factr will be growing and building out proper software, where the leading target market builder will be current independent device companies, and other start-ups wishing to promote/gain traction on their devices. While in the process of developing Factr’s first phase, licensing and rebranding of the company name/logo will also begin underway. Closer to the end of the first Phase, with the aid of Advisor Ellington West, Factr will be looking to begin the process of funding through grants.
Phase 2
The Second Phase will begin at the 8 month mark and go until the 1.5 year mark of the start of the company. This time is crucial to beginning the process of the rental system. Based on phase one, Factr will know which devices are most sought after (but may not be affordable for purchase), where the most users are located. This is when Factr will be able to work with medical device companies by beginning leasing options and generating revenue. As phase two begins Factr will be looking into legal teams in order to ensure the device companies and Factr are creating trust through contract and ensuring revenue/traction/business on both ends.
Phase 3
In the third phase, which will last three+ years Factr will look to become further connected within Health Care networks. Creating options of both insurance and non-insurance holders to be able to distribute and rent devices out at a lower cost. During this phase is when Factr will start to develop a physical host site where people can consult with a Factr Doctor, through walk-in or appointment to obtain a device, or have the option of using the website/app to rent a device. This is also the phase where Factr looks to begin the process of expanding across the United States focusing on areas of the country that have had poor access to health care.
